{"id":13108,"date":"2024-07-22T14:52:47","date_gmt":"2024-07-22T12:52:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/stillirisengo.bluelabs.it\/?post_type=research&#038;p=13108"},"modified":"2024-07-22T17:22:19","modified_gmt":"2024-07-22T15:22:19","slug":"2024-student-survey-outlook","status":"publish","type":"research","link":"https:\/\/stillirisengo.bluelabs.it\/en\/our-work\/research-and-development\/2024-student-survey-outlook\/","title":{"rendered":"2024 Student Survey: Outlook"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2024 Student Survey: <\/h2><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Outlook<\/h2><p>In June 2024, we surveyed 221 Italian students and 472 students from SIR schools to understand their views on the future. <a href=\"https:\/\/stillirisengo.bluelabs.it\/uploads\/2024\/07\/2024-Student-Survey-Outlook-Eng.pdf\">The findings reveal<\/a> significant differences in optimism and empowerment between the two groups.<\/p><ul class=\"numbers-block\">\n      <li>\n              <strong class=\"numbers-block__value\">52%<\/strong>\n      \n              <span class=\"numbers-block__description\">of SIR students believe the world is getting better<\/span>\n          <\/li>\n      <li>\n              <strong class=\"numbers-block__value\">77% <\/strong>\n      \n              <span class=\"numbers-block__description\">of Italian students believe the world is getting worse.<\/span>\n          <\/li>\n      <li>\n              <strong class=\"numbers-block__value\">82% <\/strong>\n      \n              <span class=\"numbers-block__description\">of SIR students look forward to their adult lives<\/span>\n          <\/li>\n  <\/ul><p>The survey featured eight key questions, designed to elicit instinctive and honest responses from participants. These questions explored several critical areas:<\/p><ul><li><strong>Perception of Global Improvement:<\/strong> How do young people feel about the state of the world? Is it getting better or worse?<\/li>\n\n<li><strong>Perception of Violence:<\/strong> Are we becoming a more peaceful society, or is violence on the rise?<\/li>\n\n<li><strong>Optimism for Adulthood:<\/strong> How excited are young people about their future adult lives?<\/li>\n\n<li><strong>Empowerment and Impact:<\/strong> Do they believe they can change the world? Do they see themselves making a major positive impact during their lifetimes?<\/li>\n\n<li><strong>Future Outlook:<\/strong> What are their thoughts on how life will be personally, nationally, and globally in the next 20 years?<\/li><\/ul><figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\"><blockquote><p>In comparison to their Italian peers, SIR students are more optimistic about the future.<\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure><p>The survey offers valuable insights into the mindset of today\u2019s youth, highlighting the importance of fostering a positive and empowering environment.
